What are the additional charges?

Depending on your unique CRM requirements and set up, there may be additional charges incurred for features such as SMS, Email, API tasks, Premium Triggers (Direct integrations with Slack, Google sheets etc.) or Content AI (AI-driven content creation for emails, social media and workflows).

Below we describe how the billing system works and the various charges for billable features.

How does the billing system work?

The billing system works like a top-up card, and you can access your full billing history and itemization on the Company Billing Page.

Note that as our communication provider is based in the US so you will be billed in $USD, converted to GBP, so VAT will be included in the invoice amount.

Depending on your auto-recharge amount, every time your account hits a Xero balance, you will get an automatic re-charge for messaging credits, and will receive an invoie from Stripe like this:

  • $ 0.002025/email
  • $10 will give you about 5000 emails

What is a segment in SMS?

The size of an SMS segment refers to the maximum number of characters that can be included in a single SMS message.


In most countries, including the United States, the standard SMS character limit is 160 characters per segment. This means that a single SMS message can contain up to 160 characters, including spaces, punctuation, and special characters.


However, some languages, such as Arabic and Chinese, use characters that require more bits to encode and may have a lower maximum character limit per segment. For example, Chinese characters require two bytes to encode and have a maximum character limit of 70 per segment.


If a message exceeds the maximum character limit for a single segment, it will be split into multiple segments, and each segment will be charged as a separate SMS. Therefore, it's important for SMS marketers to keep their messages concise and within the character limit to avoid additional costs and potential confusion for recipients.


Content AI Pricing

  • Once Content AI is enabled, you will have 500 free words to try it out.
  • Once the 500 free words are used, an average of $0.18/ 1000 words and $0.2 / Image will be debited from your location wallet.
  • $10 will give you about 55555 Words or 85 Images
  • Each API treats words according to their context in the corpus data. The process works like Content AI takes the prompt, converts the input, processes the prompt, and converts the predicted content back to the words we see in the response. 
  • Price Charged (based on usage) = Prompt Content + Variation Output
  • Each word in the prompt and variation can be long or short, with a 4-12 character base. Some words may have sub-words or trailing spaces or be uppercase/lowercase. Thus, pricing can vary for 10 words input with large words and sub-words compared to 6 words input with smaller characters. The average pricing is $0.18/ 1000 words 

3rd Party API Tasks

We may use 3rd party API integrations or software like Zapier, Make or Pabbly. Every "task" has a transaction fee, paid to the software developers and can have variable rates, depending on platform and usage. We pay the transaction fees, then re-bill you, the Client.

Our current 3rd Party API task cost is $0.004 per task (minimum spend is 50,000 tasks per month)

Example: $200 will get you 50,000 tasks.


What is a "Task"?

In the context of automation platforms like Zapier and Pabbly, a "task" refers to a single action or step within an automated workflow. These tasks are the building blocks of automation, allowing you to connect different applications and perform actions based on specific triggers or events.


For example, in Zapier, a task could be sending an email notification when a new lead is created in your CRM system. This task would involve connecting to your CRM system, retrieving the new lead information, and then sending an email to the designated recipient.


In Pabbly Connect, a task could be updating a record in a database when a new comment is posted on a blog article. This task would involve monitoring the blog for new comments, retrieving the comment details, and then updating the corresponding record in the database.


The specific definition of a "task" may vary slightly between different automation platforms, but the general concept remains the same. Each task represents a single step in a workflow, and the combination of these tasks allows you to automate complex processes and streamline your operations.
